KOREAN LYRICS (HANGUL):

Seventeen~

도와줘 S.O.S

Don’t take this the wrong way
But 너 말곤 안 보여
You’re so ice ice baby
At the same time 넌 날 녹여
Just can’t get enough

I can’t take it no more
I can’t take it no more
I can’t take it no more
I can’t take it no more

Baby you’re my lady
Baby

Does she love me,
does she love me not
Does she love me,
does she love me not

ENGLISH TRANSLATION:

Got so much to say
but can’t organize myself
Help me, S.O.S

1,2,3

What kind of expression
can deliver my heart?
Should I take my heart out to copy
and paste on you?

On one fine day
you magically appeared
You took my heart and attracted my eyes,
you’re greedy

What I wanted to say is

Don’t take this the wrong way
But I can’t see anything but you
You’re so ice ice baby
At the same time you melt me down
Just can’t get enough
I want to show you myself without hiding anything

We chose each other and
focus on by nano unit
When I see you, it’s breathtaking

Normally I’m not like this

I want to pick and gather all the pretty words for you
They stick in my throat in front of you

I promise myself, while drinking
a glass of water in the morning, to tell you
I will confess what has been
on the tip of my tongue tomorrow
You are pretty

Pills for cold, meals for hunger, me for you
I want to define you as me
like this in the dictionary
By the way what should I do today?

Should I ask the internet?
What to wear, where to go
I should have studied hard like this

Oh we chose each other and
focus on by nano unit
When I see you, it’s breathtaking

Normally I’m not like this

I want to pick and gather all the pretty words for you
They stick in my throat in front of you

I promise myself, while drinking
a glass of water in the morning, to tell you
I will confess what has been
on the tip of my tongue tomorrow
You are pretty

I can’t take it no more
I’ve got something to say
I can’t take it no more
Right now, I’m gonna try
I can’t take it no more
I was about to write a letter
I can’t take it no more
I can’t stand it

Baby you’re my lady
I am running to your heart
Baby I’m almost there

(Oh~) I promise myself, while drinking a glass of water in the morning, to tell you
Beautiful words like the lines in a movie
The words I’ve prepared overnight for days
I want to say them to you tomorrow with my clenched fists
You are pretty

Does she love me, does she love me not
I am counting flower petals all day long
Does she love me, does she love me not
What will the petals answer to me?

This song was written by Woozi, S.Coups, Vernon and Seungkwan (from the group). Beside them, this song was also written by Key Bumzu, their song arranger and composer. It was just released last night, together along with their 1st Album. The song is about a guy who is attracted to a girl and about to confess to them but the guy is nervous whether the girl like him back or not. You can see from the lyrics ‘Does she love me, Does she love me not?’.

“Pretty U” is a very catchy song. A week ago, their official youtube account released the highlight medley teaser of their album. Although it was just a teaser, but the tittle song already catched my heart.

And yesterday on the evening, they had their comeback showcase. I streamed their comeback, LIVE. After the showcase, they realesed their 1st album.

My opinion about this song? Hmm, I think this song is really good to hear. I play this song whenever I do something because it make me feel good. I always imagine if they sing in front of me haha. It would feel like they confess their feelings to me? Haha, that’s why I feel my heart flutter and some butterflies fly in my stomach.

Education for a Better Future

In the education, we have some problems. Education isn’t just about subjects in class, but also about spirituals, manner, and about a good behavior. But a pity, some schools haven’t gave an education yet about what a good manner is,, or how to have a good behavior. The education in schools just taught the students about the curicullum, and make them crazy over scores so they would do anything by any way to get a good scores. That’s why there are some students that cheating when they are on exam; because the curicullum pressure them to have a good score. So, the students don’t care about the way or which way they should choose and do to get a good score. In the end, they don’t care about manners and behaviors.

Example, there are two type of people. The first one is the type of guy who is lazy, and always cheating. Even when do a task, that guy is still cheating. BUT, he got a good score. He even got a rank in his class. And the second one is the type of guy who is very dilligent, always looking for something or discover something. But, this kind of guy always got a lower score than the first type guy. He didn’t get a rank in his class. Do you see the different? The second type of guy has been study to death but still got a lower score than the first one. He might have cheating too like the first type, but he didn’t. Why? Because he wasn’t just study for the subjects in school, but he was also study for himself, for his manner, for his behavior. He should be honest. He might be got a low score in the subjects, I mean, the score isn’t too nice. But, he got a good score in his manner and behavior.

Good manner or behavior isn’t just about not cheating in class, but there is other. Example, there are some students that skipped the class. Maybe because the teacher is boring or because of something? But the point is, that’s not a good behavior. The school should’ve taught the students about this, about manner and behavior, so, the education are all good whether in the curicullum subject or in the manners.

I think if every school and every components of school (such as: teachers, students, and parents) know about this, the education would be better.

Extraordinary And Unique Place You should Visit!

Hobbit Village, Newzealand

Hobbit Village, Newzealand

The Hobbiton Movie Set was a significant location used for The Lord of the Rings film trilogy and The Hobbit film series. It is situated on a family run farm about 8 kilometres (5.0 mi) west of Hinuera and 10 kilometres (6.2 mi) southwest of Matamata, in Waikato, New Zealand, and is now a Tolkien tourism destination, offering guided tours of the set.

Two hours south of Auckland lies the lush farmland of the Hamilton – Waikato region. Famous for dairying and fine thoroughbred horses, it’s easy to see why these green pastures and rolling hills were chosen to portray Hobbiton and The Shire.

Hobbit fans can visit the Hobbiton Movie Set on a guided tour; it has more than 44 unique hobbit holes, including Bag End (Bilbo’s house). As you wander through the heart of the Shire, you’ll get to hear the fascinating commentary about how it was all created.

Along your journey you’ll see the mill, the double arched bridge and the famous Party Tree before stopping for a drink at the Green Dragon Inn. Evening tours are also available, and they include a feast fit for a hobbit!

A number of great farmstays are also on offer in Matamata. Just east of town you can discover the North Island’s highest waterfalls, Wairere Falls, which are a spectacular sight plunging 153m. The Wairere Falls walking track showcases a diverse range of natural scenery and from the lookout you can enjoy magnificent views over the valley and the Waikato Plains.

Matamata is situated 2 hours’ drive from Auckland, 45 minutes from Hamilton and 1 hour from Rotorua.

The underlying geology of the area is that of the Hinuera Formation, a group of alluvial silts, sands and gravels laid down in the last glacial period. Originally largely marshland, it was transformed in the 19th century by a large-scale drainage scheme and is now fertile agricultural land that is also a major racehorse breeding area.

The Alexander family moved to the 505-hectare (1,250-acre) property of rolling grassland where the set is located in 1978. Since then it has been a livestock ranch with 13,000 sheep and 300 Angus beef cattle. The main sources of income from farming are mutton, wool and beef.

Although the set was not built to last, the hobbit hole facades having been constructed from untreated timber, ply and polystyrene, it was evident that the location was of interest to tourists. Guided tours of the 5.5 hectares (14 acres) movie set site commenced in 2002 and continue to be provided on a daily basis, the two hour excursion having to be booked in advance.

Highlights of the tour include Bagshot Row, the Party Tree, and Bilbo’s Bag End home. There are now 44 hobbit holes on view although it is not possible to enter any of them. (The interior of Bag End was shot in a studio in Wellington).

Refreshments are available at “The Shires Rest Cafe” prior to or after tours. Breakfast and indeed “Second Breakfast” is served. In 2012 the “Green Dragon” inn (a replica of the Green Dragon. that featured in the LOTR and Hobbit trilogies) was opened on the set. There is now also a store selling merchandise and souvenirs adjacent to the cafe and evening events commenced in 2014. The tours have generally received good reviews (although not all are complimentary) and in 2013 the set welcomed its 500,000th guest.

My holiday wasn’t too interesting. i didn’t go for a holiday because I was too busy with my activities. the first day of my holiday, I went to school to do my SP a.k.a Semester Pendek. GAMARVANI

sman3

GAMARVANI is a culture festival from SMAN 3 Bandung that took a theme concept from Nyi Anteh story. GAMARVANI is the new generation from culture festival SMAN 3 Bandung after Matswapati.

GAMARVANI means a journey to the moon (Nyi Anteh story). In this era, modern-era, there’s so many people who forget about their own culture and literature especially the teenagers. They most like about the culture from outside of Indonesia. That’s why SMAN 3 Bandung made such as this festival. Gamarvani showed a few performances from wayang golek by Giri Harja, pencak silat by perguruan Gadjah Putih Mega Pasksi Pusaka, and many more. There was also a few traditional games such as Bancakan, Sapintrong, Cing Ciripit and Perepet Jengkol. This event was also enlivened by the appearance of Musik Klasik 3, Lingkung Seni Sunda 3, Keluarga Paduan Angklung 3, Gabungan Pekerja Seni Bandung, Pencak Silat Mega Paksi, etc.

Oh, there was also a few foodtrucks and food stands and all the foods and drinks are so deliciouuuss!!

A few weeks before Gamarvani, there was a forms to filled if you want to be one of the committees of this event. And more than half students from grade 10 joined the committees, including me. I chose the publishing division. After we filled the forms, we got called to attend the first meeting of the event. We met the other committees from the senior grade. We got explained about what Gamarvani is, what will we do, etc.

After the first meeting, we have a few meetings to attended. In the other meetings, we got a command to search a funds for this event. We could do it in every way, but the first way we should do door-to-door to a few people that we know. In short, we got so many funds! That’s mean so many people that supported this event.

A few days before the event started, the public division have a job to sell the tickets. We sell those tickets in a few places outside SMAN 3 Bandung and we also sell it in front of SMAN 3 Bandung. There was so many tickets that sold out. But, we kept a few tickets for the OTS (On the Spot). That’s mean people could buy the ticket in D-Day but with a higher price.

this is me, Cemal, Kang Faza, Teh Jovi,
and Teh Tiwi when we sell the tickets
in front of Warung Pasta

In D-Day, the public division divided a few people into 2 shifts (morning on 9.30-13.00 and afternoon on 13.00-close gate) for sell the OTS ticket and for the ticket exchange. I got the afternoon shift along with Regina, Tiara P., and Melody. There was so many people that buy the tickets in afternoon. Because I got the afternoon shifts, so I didn’t watch the performances inside the venue. It’s so sad that I couldn’t watch the attractive performances. But, It’s okay.

At 17.00, when we were going to close the gate and close the OTS ticketbooth, there was still many people that bought the tickets. So, we didn’t close the ticketbooth and wait until there was no one coming to buy the ticket. We ‘really’ closed the gate at about 18.25. After that, I joined my friends inside the venue and watched the rest of the performances.

Gamarvani wasn’t just invited and showed some cultures of West-Java, but also invited singers that popular among the teenagers, HiVi! and Adera!!

My New Friend

Hello, fellas!

I’m Navelia and I would like to introduce my new friend (+my old friend from jhs). So, let’s start from the new one.

Her name is Puteri Cikal Anasta. She is as old as me, it’s fifteen years-old. She was studied in 11 jhs. She was joined an organization in her school, which called OSIS. Being the part of OSIS is so hard, you must be smart and dilligent. Not just in academic, but you should be active too in the non-academic. So, yeaah, Puteri is a smart and dilligent girl.

She has 2 brothers. Both of them are study in an elementary school. The first brother is on the 5th grade, while the second brother is on the 4th grade. Puteri is the only girl in her house, beside her mother. The first time I knew her is when we were on MOPD (Masa Orientasi Peserta Didik) in our school in SMAN 3 Bandung. My class, science-seven (was; Gugus 7) was gathered in class science 7. We were so innocent and didn’t know what to do. So, we were just looking at each others with a ‘who-are-you?’ face. I didn’t know everyone in the class except some of them (Syafiera, Fikri, Sophia, and Fathoni) because I’ve knew them since I was in jhs.

Then after we got gathered, our binggus came to lead us. Our binggus was Kang Firza Haikal, Teh Lintang, and Teh Shamira. Kang Firza was on 12th grade, so does Teh Lintang. Meanwhile Teh Shamira was on 11th grade. They introduced theirselves first, and they let us to introduced ourselves.

The way we introduced ourselves were very unique. We introduced ourselves by sing and the others friends should clap their hands. I saw my friends introduced theirselves, and that was Puteri’s turn to introduced herself. After that, I knew some friends in my class because they had their turn. And then it was my turn!

“Nama saya Navelia (claps claps). Saya dari SMPN 5 Bandung (claps claps). Kalau teman yang disana coba kenalkan dirinya, kami semua ingin tahu (claps claps)” then I was pointed Annisa because she was sat with me. Then she introduced herself while singing and we were clapped along.

After MOPD, my friends and I got closer and we knew about each other. I got closer with Puteri and she is so nice! She also friendly and kind. She’s kinda sensitive too, same as me. She is very dilligent and smart. I’ve knew this from her: When the school’s schedule are just 3 subjects, she also bring the tomorrow’s subjects because she want to do the tasks and study for the tomorrow’s study so that when she come home, she won’t do the task.

And now about Annisa!

I’ve knew her since I was on 7th grade. We were from the same class, that was 7-D. She was from SDN Banjarsari and I was from SDN Merdeka 5. Our school was kinda near. She was very calm, but after I get closer to her, she’s not calm anymore. When we were on 7th grade, every happy-sad moments we through together. We have a killer-home-teacher whose name I censored. And that teacher who made us be so close like this. I wanted to share my stories from 7th grade when I got teachered by this teacher. But, I think I won’t do that because for her human rights. The point is, my friends and I had a tragedic moments that time.

About Annisa, she is smart, dilligent, kind, funny, but sometimes she get calm. She’s not talking as much as Puteri. Puteri is a non-stop talking machine. She always telling a story about her or somethings. Okay, back to Annisa. She is so popular back then. She knows about some people out there, whom I don’t know about their names. She have a close friend named Zahra from science 9. My mother, Annisa’s mother, and Zahra’s mother are so close.

So, that’s about them. Thank you for visit my page!!

IT’S ME

I would like introduce myself first. My name is Navelia Arifa Khalda, you can call me Navel or Velia. I was born on June 18th, 2000 in Bandung. I’m 15 now. I live in Jl. Lengkong Tengah dalam I No. 126A/17D. My favorite food? Ah, i prefer to snacks hihi.. And my favorite drink is Coffee and Milk. My favorite colour is pink! It’s too girly, but i like it. My favorite artist is Cameron Dallas.

I study in SMAN 3 Bandung now. I studied in SMPN 5 Bandung before.

When I was young, I wished and prayed everyday so that I could study in SMAN 3 Bandung. I really wanted to study here. That was so difficult to be accepted here, because just some people that chosen here. But finally, I accepted in grade X Science 7.

Folks in Sci-7 are so friendly and nice! They are also smart and funny. I do laughing to every cheap humor. I have a cheap sense of humor hohoo.

Okay, that’s some of me. Thank you.
